We often stick with familiar habits, but there is usually a faster and easier way to get things done.
Shortcuts:

This shortcut opens Snipping Tool so you can capture part or all of your screen, then save or share it.
Windows + V – Open clipboard history (see everything you’ve copied)
- A small panel pops up (top left or center-right depending on settings)
- It shows everything you have copied, including text and images.
- Each item is shown as a preview card.
- You can use options such as Pin or Clear all

Ctrl + Shift + T – Reopen a closed browser tab
Your browser restores the last closed tab exactly as it was. Repeat the shortcut to reopen multiple tabs in order.
Windows + L – Lock your computer instantly
Locking your computer when you leave your desk helps protect confidential information. Instead of using Ctrl+Alt+Del and confirming, press Windows + L for an instant lock.
Ctrl + Shift + Esc – Open Task Manager directly
If an app stops responding or your computer slows down, open Task Manager to see what is running and close any problem apps. It can show:
- Running apps
